Description
Day 1:
We travel into the mountains of north Georgia. We'll have lunch at the Dillard House then visit beautiful Tullulah Gorge before arriving in Helen, an Alpine village with a German flair, for our overnight. We visit the Old Sautee Store and have time for shopping.
Day 2:
Today we travel to Hiawassee for the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival. We can shop for crafts, see craft demonstrations, visit the Pioneer Village, then attend a country music show. Mountain scenery and fall foliage surround us as we make our way home.
